Interview
I interviewed for an Associate Director role at Commbank iQ. The first interview was great, the second not so much. In this interview, I had to complete a practical task where they asked me to present data on customer spending and insights on market performance. I had one hour to prepare for the mock interview. I appreciated their honest feedback and potential gaps they saw in my presentation. However, I feel the way it was delivered was poor. I feel they assumed my abilities without knowing how I best work, which doesn’t allow an accurate representation of my abilities. I got the impression they were looking for a data analyst not someone who can connect, build and develop strong relationships with potential clients.
