Applied for the job online, received a call within a week to discuss opportunity. After initial conversation with HR, a phone interview was set up. HR representative was very clear and direct about what the next steps would be and also had a positive and friendly attitude.
After initial 45 minute phone interview with hiring manager, she advised that a meeting in person would be the next step. This was set up for 1 week out from phone interview. HR representative contacted me and provided a list of the people that would be interviewing me on the day of my meeting as well as precise instructions on where to go and who to ask for upon arrival.
On the day of the interview, I was directed to one of the floors in the building where I was greeted by the office manager of that floor. The HR recruiter then met me first and advised me about who I would be speaking with and the order of events. She also gave a brief tour of the floor and provided some details about the building and company. Very friendly and assisted with easing my tension. I was brought to the office of the first person I would meet with and sat down for the first interview. I then went through 3 additional face to face meetings (each 1:1 in their offices) and finally ended up with the Hiring manager. After all of these meetings, the HR representative met with me to discuss benefits and general company questions.
I received a call in 2 days asking if I would interview with a senior executive as a final step. I was given a choice of a phone interview or an in person meeting. I chose the in person meeting and the 2nd visit went just as well as the first. The meeting with the senior executive was more challenging and included test type questions where I was asked to role play and provide examples of difficult challenges and how I overcame them in my career. It seemed more scripted and by the book than the other meetings, which were more casual.
Overall, the meetings were challenging. I did not feel that any Director that I met with was a push over. They all clearly had interview experience and knew how to interrogate a candidate effectively. It was helpful to have interview experience and also to research the company and products prior to the meetings. Every person that I met with had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely happy to work at Comcast. The office had a certain glow to it from an employee satisfaction perspective.
I received a call within one day with an offer.
