I chatted with a recruiter and the hiring manger hiring for this as an on-site role in Philadelphia headquarters but neither of them worked out of that office. Some additional interview process highlights:
1.) Comcast has a plethora of data across the channels and products they produce, so this role would be expected to analyzing those numerous data streams for better audit decisions in the future and build a better framework (since there currently is no industry standard).
2.) With that last point, this is more of an audit related role not a typical data analyst role with reports, dashboards and databases since the primary goal is to audit the data for that framework.
3.) Vibe with interviewers felt extremely corporate-centric, as I answered why I am applying for this role for personal career reasons, the hiring manager said: That doesn't sound like you're answering why do you want to work at Comcast. He gave me another shot to answer the questions but I was confused why he didn't ask that question in the first place.
Overall, it felt like with this Comcast role, the hiring team trying to find candidates to suit their needs without clearly defining those needs and it ends up being vague on the asks of this job especially because the only requirements for the job are "5-7 years of relevant work experience."
