I applied, submitted a Hirevue video screen interview and then ghosted for 6 weeks. The recruiter was helpful but ultimately the hiring manager did not seem interested in actually reviewing the applications for the req. If it takes 6 weeks to go through applications, how badly do they need the position?

It's an unpredictable process, when you're an external candidate it can take weeks if not months to go through a complete interview cycle before knowing if you did or didn't get the job

Interview
There were quite a few interviews starting with a screening interview, interview with peers, interview with the hiring manager, then 3 more interviews with manager peers. The process was pretty easy, but Comcast is pretty meticulous. The people are very nice though and are looking to learn more about you.
