I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Columbia Sportswear (Portland, OR) in Feb 2018
Interview
After 15 minutes phone interview I received an email from Columbia downtown store assistant manager, she asked me to come in on Friday 23th for a group interview. I have +5 years experience in retail and customer service, both in Europr and the US, fluent in 5 languages and familiar with responsibilities as a sells person. The interview was simple and I have answered some work related skill questions. Answered them smoothly and clearly I had confidence that I got this job, but the only thing made me worried was how undiverse the store was literally everyone was caucasian, anyhow after a week or so I recieved a phone call from Columbia store, she explained on the phone that they’ve decided to go whit another candidate because I wasn’t outdoorsy ENOUGH! I went back and check the job requirements nowhere mentioned the word outdoorsy! Anyhow awful experience whit this company, basically they decided I am not outdoorsy enough because of the shape of my body. They did not care for my skills and experiences.

Interview
They are very thorough with their interviewing process. They will ask you about previous work, how would you handle certain situations, and how would you react to a rude customer.
