I sent my application to the CTO on LinkedIn and got a message on the same platform the next day for 1st interview. It was a 30-minute interview. Everything seemed fine, the interviewer seemed to have a wide knowledge and knew exactly what he needed for his assistant. Then I got to the 2nd interview, which was 1 hour long. After the interview, he said the result would be given out one week later. I gave him 8 days to send a message back, then I asked again, and he said, "We are in stage of offering. If I need any information from you I will reach out", "HR dept. is working to send out offers to selected candidates. Once they are done they are sending the offer files to confirm. that's what I meant by in offering stage" There are no exact words to confirm whether I was taken in or not, so I was perplexed. I asked him again if I was taken in, and he said "if you didn't get the message you are not selected for 1st position I have 2 openings". Alright, so I waited for 1 week more. NO MESSAGES. After a whole time texting in LinkedIn and not getting a message back, I decided to send an email directly to him, asking him, "May I know an estimated date of when I can expect to receive a decision from your company? "
Still no message.
4 days already.
I know he saw the mail because I use Mailtrack. I see a cricket ground.
Poor little hopeful interviewee who is just looking for an answer.
If the CTO reads this, I hope everything is fine with him.
