I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Interview
Zoom meeting. Starts off like it'll be a behavioral interview, but quickly transitions into a technical interview. Have heard it can go either way for the initial software development interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe how multithreading works for a specific scenario they give you in an OO language.
Focus on Understanding of systems of systems and how they are deployed in aerospace. Also, how to manage risks on programs. Thats pretty much everything they asked me. Its going going gone.
The interview was good. But interviewer was asking about basic mathematics and statistics questions which is relevant but not required at senior level..and the question was selected from internet. Technical round they have not asked anything about system engineering

Overall this is a process that is will span over multiple rounds and then the process will end with an onsite final interview as the last step. Although a long process you get to meet most of the team
