I was interviewed at Cognizant recently (for a remote position in the USA). The recruiters are very much unprofessional and they don't know how to talk and the response is very poor. There were two rounds of technical interview and the first one is 1:1 peer programming. The interview was mainly focused on the implementation of basic data structure. The 2nd interview was wrongly scheduled by the recruiter and the interviewer didn't show up. I reach the recruiter and it was scheduled again. After the 2nd interview, the recruiter said they are making a job offer with a specific number, then certainly there was no response from the recruiter. Then after a week another recruiter called who is very unprofessional, offered me a salary of 20 below then what was actually communicated. I asked for some time and did a follow-up email with other additional queries I had. They are so unprofessional that they didn't even respond. The communication is unclear and the response rate is very poor. It seems I just wasted my time in the process. This kind of behaviour is unexpected from a giant company like Cognizant, they should fix their hiring process and provide a better experience to the candidates.
