The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Coberg (Cairo, Cairo Governorate)
Interview
It was a 3 step process
1st - HR, A typical HR interview.
2nd - Technical interview and was smooth, it was less tension and pressure than most interview I made before.
3rd - it's a typical culture fit interview.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Coberg (Al Ma`ādī) in Jun 2023
Interview
The hiring process consists of three interviews HR, technical, and culture fit. I passed the HR interview and was told that I was great too in the technical interview, The technical interview needs preparation and study topics and technical tasks and presentation of it and all the details you will get from HR. The technical interview was good but preparation needed a week to study the topics they gave me and make a presentation to discuss it with the interviewer. The culture interview was easier than I expected and prepared for, it was four or five general questions but I did not pass it. I think COBERG considers where you graduated from or where you live, I passed 2 interviews and three were about 10 minutes of basic questions. I will not discuss whether this consideration was good or not but I found it unprofessional that my resume passed through the screening process and in the HR interview, we discussed my education so my background was clear to you Despite this, you wasted my time and effort in this process, which took about three weeks, really I can not find a good reason why this happened except you are doing this miserable interview as part of a routine job So that my comment is not just a complaint, I suggest merging the culture fit interview with the HR interview, because there is no reason to separate them, and take into account what you want from the beginning. If you only want graduates of a German or American university, choose it only for interviews. Respect the time, effort, and passion of others.
The HR interview process typically involves initial screenings, behavioral questions to assess cultural fit, discussions on past experiences, evaluation of communication skills, and alignment with company values, followed by feedback and next steps.
