I interviewed at Clinton Health Access Initiative
Interview
HR screen, technical assessment, panel, and I believe one more. The HR recruiter ghosted me after the panel. After requesting applicants to do a 3 hour panel, you could be a little respectful and let them know they are no longer being considered. Four weeks past prior interview, it is a sign of poor HR and recruitment processes. This is a sign the organization is likely lacking good leadership, time management, and experienced employees ready to take on uncomfortable conversations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
HR screen is very basic.
Panel interview:
They asked me how I would feel working for a supervisor with less experience? I am post USAID contractor layoffs, the least of my worries is reporting to someone less experienced.
How you analyze data?
Introduce yourself
How do you keep yourself motivated?
Why this role/position?
Have you worked remote?
They dug into a few specific questions on my experience and asked I explain it in terms of how it aligns with the roles job description.
Very opaque process. The ATS doesn't tell you if anyone has even viewed your application. The recruiter reaches out asking salary requirements and requesting a technical assessment be completed via email. Never even spoke to a person on the phone.
Completed the assessment and received a canned email a week later saying "thanks, but no thanks." Recruiter says "Unfortunately, CHAI does not share feedback from the interview process."
Such a cold and opaque process. Will not be applying for anymore roles here, very dissatisfactory candidate experience.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Clinton Health Access Initiative
Interview
I applied in 01/24 and went through 2 rounds of interviews and 1 technical case study. I was told at the last interview that there would be another 2 interviews and another case study assignment.... The process lasted until end of 04/24, so almost 5 months!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why CHAI? How does the position fit with your career goals? What is your working style? How do you manage stress/tight timelines/conflict? Tell me about a time you had to manage someone - what were the challenges and how did you overcome them?
