This is the only offer rescindment we’ve had to do so far in my 3 years at Cleo. From speaking to our VP of Tech and Tech Talent Lead, the circumstances were due to an unforeseen change in company circumstances and squad hiring plans. This change would mean we wouldn’t have been able to give you the full Tech Lead responsibilities you were looking for and would no longer have a role that would allow you to utilise your skillset fully.
We appreciate your honesty, and sincerely apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the offer rescindment. We hope we can keep in touch with you and when the time is right if a more suitable opening comes up, we’d love to reconsider you for a role at Cleo.
