The process consisted of five total interviews (recruiter, hiring manager, techinical, dirctor and excecutive team members). The first three interviews where very contrsuctive and productive conversations. The tone of the fourth interview (director) was very different. The interviewer seemed rushed and not interested. When it came time to end the call they skipped the standard pleasantries and abruptly disconnected.
I reached out to the recruiter a few days later for feedback, they mentioned that a decision hadn't been reached (polite speak for you are no longer being considered). Another week has gone by and still no feedback. I totally understand the cost and time commitment companies have to make to recruit and vet candidates. I also believe that potential employers should at least let a candidate know where they stand after several interviews.
