I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Clark Street Associates
Interview
A recruiting firm from working on behalf of Clark Street contacted me several times; I eventually relented and scheduled a series of interviews. The questions were standard; the only technical content was a short walk-through of the working of a solar cell. The recruiter was helpful and friendly, although the mentioned salary range was not competitive with comparable consulting opportunities.
Two phone calls with the recruiter led to a phone interview with a hiring manger and an analyst at Clark Street. This questioning was again fairly standard, with the exception of several questions about fuel cell technology. I never heard back after this interview, and did not initiate further contact as the salary was unattractive and the work seemed to consist of little more than writing funding proposals for government agencies.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Clark Street Associates (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
The CEO hires The Berkner Group to do the recruiting and initial interviews for him. Once a candidate is forwarded to the CEO, Steve, an in-person meeting is scheduled. The job description was TECH CONSULTANT, but in reality, the CEO wanted a "bag man" that could do all of the misc tasks he did not want to do any longer because they took too much time. There was very little tech involved, even though the CEO did ask specific questions about the workings of solar cells and batteries.
