Got invited for an online interview. It was pretty easy with mostly situational questions. Heard back for an on ice assessment two weeks later. They contacted me in June for a contract starting in fall

Question 1
why do you want to be a skate guard? How would you ensure safety on the ice? What would you do if someone didn’t want to participate in the program?
I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at City of Toronto in Nov 2022
Interview
pretty easy, interviewers just ask a bunch of situational questions and you have to give answers. they'll basically hire anyone that has more than 2 brain cells though, lol. if you look at/prepare for interview questions you'll be fine.

Question 1
What would you do if there was a person/group of people on the ice that was being violent with other patrons and disturbing them?
I applied online. I interviewed at City of Toronto (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview was low-key, just asked behavioural and situational questions. Mine was done in an ice rink outside; it wasn't formal at all. The interviewer was taking down notes and filling in forms.
