It consists of 3 stages of interview.
1st: TA screening. Basic questions were asked
2nd: The hiring manager. She was a pleasant lady, well-spoken, and knew exactly the job process. We were talking about the data infrastructure, challenges in merging the two companies (UOB), the timelines, etc. It was a fruitful interview and I enjoyed it so much.
3rd: A panel of 3, including the VP. He thinks someone with a Ph.D. only belongs to Universities. I didn't expect that coming from Citibank. A rather traditional and not very progressive argument coming from a multinational company.
In the end, I got rejected because I have a Ph.D which I obviously stated in my resume. The argument was that I would forget how to work in the office.
After going through the final (third) interview, they couldn't even bother to come up with a smarter answer.
