The interview process was a long and strenuous process, but CISCO's reputation and benefits made the risk appear worth it at the time. If you don't have time to wait on their answer, look elsewhere! I interviewed with Cisco over the course of four months through a referral, and several other virtual conversations before I was officially entered into the formal interview pipeline. I loved meeting everyone there and it was clear they loved their jobs, however, communication throughout the process on the recruiting/HR side was abysmal. I finished my final round interview, their "Virtual Assessment Center" (which took about 12-15 hours of preparation) over a month ago, and still have received no update as to whether or not I was offered the role. I reached out to several contacts on the HR and recruitment side that I had met throughout the process in order to gain some insight, but haven't received any insight. Huge bummer and wouldn't have minded being told no, but the lack of communication was a bit surprising. Might be a product of the recent layoffs going on in tech, or maybe some mismanagement, but either way, in my opinion I'd stay away if your time frame is limited in finding work.
