I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cisco (Oslo) in Dec 2017
Interview
Assessment Center:
1: The day started out with a meeting with all attendees (we were four candidates left). The agenda of that meeting was to be informed how the day was laid up, more information of what was required of the positon we were appliying for and we had the opprotunity to ask questions. We also had 3 trainees that was undertaking the program on WebEX from Stockholm and could ask them a few questions.
2. Technical assessment - this was a 15 minute multiple choice test about LAN and WAN. Shouldnt be to hard, no-one used more than 7-8 minutes on the test.
3. Personal interview. There was 3 interviewers that had the peronal interview. It was about 30-40 minutes long.
4. Role - play. This was a funny task. Our case was a retailer having 10 stores, 600 employees, one headquarter with warehouse. You was suppose to lead the initial sales meeting. Important to have a solid introduction of yourself and the company, then ask a lot of questions, and finish off by agreeing on the next meeting time.
5. Personal case. You get a case 48 hours in front of the interview. I our case it was:
Please explain how you - as a Cisco sales person - would contribute to Cisco’s transformation from a hardware Company to a multidimensional business driven by security, services and software.
The team will assess the following:
- Organization & Understanding of Topic
- Sales Personality & Audience Engagement
- Deliver Clear & Concise Messaging
