The first interview was really nice. They were really well prepared, even with a small presentation. It felt really transparent. But then I met the product team, first interview was overwhelming but it was ok. Even though I noticed that there was a lack of UX knowledge. With the second product team member was even more overwhelming and it was really awkward and disrespectful. I felt that the person interviewing me was in a rush, he might had more interviews so it was a total red flag, poor scheduling skills. I had to present my case study (again) to a new person. It didn’t feel transparent tho. I thought this last interview was just to see how I will fit in the team. He didn’t even let me say goodbye, the person just jumped off the call. This is what happens when people that are not recruiters have to do hiring processes. Lack of manners. It was almost a week and I hadn’t had any reply back so I wrote them to have updates regarding the hiring process. I got an email back one week later. So so frustrating and disrespectful.

I went through several stages in the interview process: first a People and Culture interview, then a Design interview, followed by a design challenge and presentation. In the final step, I had a conversation with the co-founders. I received very quick feedback after each stage, which made the entire process smooth and fast despite the multiple rounds!
