I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cintra HR & Payroll Services (Gateshead, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
Basic technical competency test with pen a paper, more to see what you know than to try and catch you out, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript questions. It's best to be honest if you don't know something than to lie, no one is expected to know everything.
After the test is a talk with Dept head and Senior devs who will ask you more focused tech questions, if you didn't lie on your CV you'll do fine.
If you pass this you'll have a second interview with the CEO (or other senior staff if he's busy), this is more of a personality/culture check than anything else. You'd have to really screw up to not get an offer here. Be prepared to discuss salary here.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cintra HR & Payroll Services (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process consists of three stages. The first is a conversation with the technical lead, focused on discussing my professional experience. The second is a traditional one-hour technical interview, primarily a Q&A session with questions closely aligned with my expertise. The final stage is a discussion with the CTO about the role itself. Overall, the process is straightforward, with interviewers who were professional, friendly, and asked well-structured questions. I would rate the difficulty as moderate.
