I had an interview with this company a few years ago. They first had me take a personality test online before an in person interview. When they got to the in person interview they invited me to the office and they did tell me to plan on 4 hours. It was the most intense and over the top interview. They first went over my personality test which they said was right in line with what they look for personality wise. They took a very long time to go over this test. Then someone in the executive/upper management gave a very long presentation on the company. At the very end of the interview was the technical assessment. A couple of the questions were multiple choice and weren’t too hard but then they had me code a program in C# using multithreading. THIS IS FOR A SOLUTIONS ENGINEER POSITION. They gave no warning or preparation before the interview. They just expected me to code a multithreaded program in about 30 minutes with no online help. They also project your screen so the whole team can see it. They also had me troubleshoot some of their code which they use in production. I had never seen the code, I didn’t know why the code was supposed to do. Definitely felt like a waste of time on my end as they shortly said they were going with someone else. They wasted 4 hours of my day for a 1st time interview. Definitely an interview I look back on so that I never do that again.
