I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Shreveport, LA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Super easy interview. They look for specific characteristics and personality traits. I was interviewed by two kitchen managers. Walked in. It was a new location that hadn't opened yet. Asked if they were hiring and was interviewed on the spot. They called me back less than 30 minutes later and offered me the job. I then had to apply online and go back in to scan my documents.

Question 1
Asked to hear a little about myself and past experiences
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
