I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chipotle in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied online for a new Chipotle that was opening in my area. I was called in for a group interview. I was the only one who was not a college student. I was the oldest; I had the most experience; I had the most open availability; I was not called back for a second interview. The store opened the first week in March, and all ready there are postings for job openings. I have re-applied. Has anyone else experienced age discrimination from Chipotle?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If money and education were not issues, where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
