I applied for the position the first week of January 2018. I received an invitation for a phone interview mid January, though it was end of January before the interview happened. After that, I didn't hear anything until the first week of March, when I was asked to come in for an in person interview. I met with two individuals, and it was extremely hostile the entire process. While I don't expect interviewers to be overly friendly, there were multiple instances where they made it clear that they didn't feel like I had the skills necessary for the job, which was confusing since they had called me in for a second interview. The job, from their perspective, was one that would receive no help, and the individual would essentially be on their own. I got the feeling they had no intention to hire me, and at the end of the interview, it was clear to me that it would not be a good fit, as the marketing department would most likely be a very hostile and cold place to work.
