First a brief phone interview: overview of the job description and my experience and why I was interested. Then an in-person interview with a current employee and the owner of the branch/my potential future manager. The whole process seemed to go very well. It was for a marketing role in the office. Then I received a job offer a couple days after the in-person interview and the details of my first day were completely different than what they made the job description out to be. They said I would need a drug screening in order "to step foot inside the Costco" and the pay would be $14 per hour plus commission after the 4th sales deal. This seemed like a complete bait and switch from the brand marketing role in the office that I had my interview, which promised much higher pay. Then once those details were laid out, the hiring manager said "you know what, I'll have to call you back..." and they never did. It was all very suspicious and seemed like a scam. They prey on Marketing new-grads desperate for work. I advise applicants to avoid.
