Cherry Lake's hiring process happens in stages. First, you come in for a standard job interview. Mine was with the head of the department I was applying for and the person who would be my direct supervisor. The President of the company dropped in as well about halfway through. A few days after the initial interview, I was asked to take a personality test, which would help them determine if I would fit with the corporate culture. After it was determined that I would, I was asked to complete a job-specific challenge. Since I was applying for a marketing position, this was to create a mock-up of a Cherry Lake flyer and a facebook post. I sent these in and was soon contacted for a second interview, where a panel of leaders from throughout the company interviewed me to see if they believed I would mesh well with the team and thrive within the company. Soon after the interview, I was contacted by phone and offered the position.
