WORST TECHNICAL INTERVIEWER EVER!
I was contacted for the position. The preliminary communication from was clear about what they are looking for and the leadership's interview was a good experience too where he was on point with the requirements and was able to gauge me thoroughly based on overall abilities.
Now comes the worst part - The next round was technical where it was an open ended coding round. The problem statement was quite clear but the worst part was the interviewer conducting technical interview could not even frame sentences properly, so while explaining the task it was almost impossible to decipher his instructions. To add to that, the designated time for the interview was 90 minutes, but he ended the interview in 40 minutes. Are you serious? The task that I was given, I had previously worked on it over the period of time in my professional experience and that certainly took more than 90 minutes. By expecting from a candidate to finish that task, atleast he should've gauged me properly. WORST INTERVIEWER of my life, making decisions on perception rather than reality.
Companies should remember that the process is both ways, its not just the company hiring the candidate its what they are also getting in return, the value and skillset of candidates. Companies should stop taking candidates for granted and treating them in such a way. This was disrespect to the entire interview process. I recommend candidates interviewing for Cherre to expect this in the technical interview.
