I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Charles River Associates (London, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Two rounds of interviews. I only made the first one. It is composed of three parts: 30 minutes for a drafting test (summary of a FT article); 30 minutes for a mathematics test (GMAT-style, 25 questions); 1 hour interview with two consultants (junior). For this last part, I was given half an hour to review some documents and prepare a presentation on a case study. After presenting, full of follow-up questions. To conclude some motivational questions.
The process was smooth, everybody was kind and easy-going.
The only thing which did not work out perfectly is the feedback. I received a email one month later which said the review of interviews was still ongoing, and then nothing else. No negative answer or feedback.

Question 1
Follow-up questions on the slides used for my presentation
Two technical interviews, with example real world scenarios. Real world scenarios could be BEC, ransomware, or dead-box forensics. Then, two "personality/vibe" interviews, where they asked about how you handle failure, difficult or new scenarios, and what your work approach is.
There are two rounds of interview for incoming analysts, One with two juniors, fairly quick and not technical. There was also a second interview with 4 rounds, each of which was with a more senior level person

Question 1
Why I am interested in the practice area I applied for
Smooth. 2 rounds of interview. A lot of questions surrounding research experiences and data processing. Not too many technicals. Many fit questions as well. Generally not difficult and got back to me pretty fast.
