The interview process typically begins with the screening of applications, where candidates are shortlisted based on academic qualifications, research experience, and teaching background. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for a subject-specific interview conducted by a panel of senior faculty members to assess technical knowledge, teaching aptitude, and research potential.
This is followed by a demo lecture or teaching presentation, where candidates are evaluated on their communication skills, subject clarity, and classroom engagement. In some cases, a research presentation is also required to showcase the candidate’s contributions and future research plans.
The final stage involves a discussion with the administrative or HR panel regarding institutional policies, salary expectations, and role responsibilities. The final selection is made based on overall performance across all stages, and the selected candidate is issued an official appointment offer upon approval by the academic committee or governing body.
