As much as I understand the thought process behind the tests at the beginning of the interview, I felt it had no relevance whatsoever to the role I was applying for. These tests I also felt could have been completed ahead of time, online. What I found most uncomfortable was my meeting with the CEO. He didn't ask me any questions about my professional experience. He didn't once look at my CV. He was not aware of where I worked. He spent the first 10 minutes of the interview on Googlemaps trying to locate his sons house. I had to prompt him to ask me questions about my work and this then lead into a 10 minute conversation about his daughter and her business. He asked me personal questions about which films I liked. Where I lived. He said he only employed people that interested him. I found the entire time with him extremely uncomfortable and it felt more like I had to sit and listen to long winded stories about his life achievements rather than sell myself and be interviewed for a role. At one point he asked me if i was able to 'swear like a trooper' in my midlands accent. Unbelievable. I really wish I had read some of the interview reviews on Glassdoor beforehand. Avoid this place. I am not sure that any career assistant would even contemplate working for this company, or this man. ASTONISHED by my experience. I didnt get a chance to get an offer for this role. I pulled out of the process as soon as i left the building.
