I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Chainlink Labs (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The process was in depth which speaks to the caliber of people the CL Labs employs I think.
1. Screening interview
2. Hiring manager interview
3. Motivation interview
4. Crypto bar raiser interview (this is the stage I got to)

Question 1
Pick an area of crypto technology and deep dive into it for me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chainlink Labs in Mar 2026
Interview
Chainlink reached out to me directly regarding the role, and I was initially excited about the opportunity. Early on, I explicitly asked the recruiting team not to schedule the interviews too tightly, as I was in a particularly busy period and wanted to ensure I could prepare properly for each round.
Despite this, the process was scheduled extremely aggressively: five interviews in four days, including one day with two interviews back-to-back. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful and felt misaligned with what I had communicated upfront.
After completing the fifth interview (out of a planned eight rounds), I was informed I would not be moving forward. I politely asked for feedback, but never received any response, despite following up respectfully.
Overall, the lack of consideration for scheduling constraints and the complete absence of feedback made the process feel unprofessional and poorly managed, especially given the time investment required.
Advice to Management:
Be more considerate with interview scheduling and provide candidates with basic feedback after multiple rounds.
Multi-stage process up to 6 stages of meeting various departments. Friendly recruitment, but scheduling seemed to be an issue for them. Probably too overly complicated a process for a role at this level.
