Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council interview questions

Onerous interview process with multiple people and multiple interviews, but all asking similar questions. It felt redundant and not necessary. I think the process could be improved upon and be better for both the employer and job seeker.

Applied online and was invited for an in-person interview. The interviewer divulged that they were interviewing 10 candidates for this position, which seemed excessive for in-person interviews -- perhaps a more appropriate number for a first-round phone screen, which I was never offered. The interviewers told me I should expect to hear back either way, but weeks went by with no response. I understood this meant I wasn't selected (and I had no hard feelings about that), but I was disappointed by how they did not inform me despite telling me they would get back to me. I took time out of my day to meet with them and I expected to at least receive a canned response from them to inform me I wasn't selected and to thank me for my time.
