I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Center for Financial Inclusion
Interview
Four-part process meeting several teams in progression of seniority, each about one hour. Very hierarchical, starting with the recruiter who relayed everything in a game of telephone. A writing test that involved writing an email to a graphic designer based on interpreting a chart, and a short sample blog based on some of their "research." Senior management had very 1980s notions about marketing management and seemingly zero idea how social platforms work. The culture didn't seem to value diversity, which is at odds with its financial inclusion mission; its operations and messaging suggested that lower-income people were objects to study, rather than partners to incorporate. Seemed like a very unpleasant culture, and I bowed out after that fourth interview.

Question 1
What successes do you have promoting content? How do you handle and offer feedback? Do you live in DC? (Hybrid for them seems to mean you must live in D.C., and it seems to be the sort of stringent, controlling culture that would have you return five-days a week if it could.
