I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Center for Civic Innovation (Atlanta, GA) in Jul 2025
Interview
Responded to RFP with resume, budget proposal, and writing samples. In next stage, invited to complete example assignment (watching and summarizing a public meeting, took a few hours of time). After submitting sample work, was invited to virtual interview. The interview was somewhat informal. CCI was courteous and responsive, and provided helpful feedback after I was not offered the contract.

Question 1
What kinds of local issues in Atlanta are you interested in?
Fine. Communicative but not my favorite experience. Didn't get the job but didn't want it either. That may have come across in the interview process. Would have declined if offered.
The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Center for Civic Innovation in Aug 2023
Interview
Virtual interviews via Zoom. Interviewees were enthusiastic about meeting, and things seemed to go well. Follow up emails after round one were exchanged, and round two required creating a PIP. It wasn’t until my second round interview I realized the PIP was for an existing employee issue. After that round… radio silence. No thank you or follow up emails were returned. After a month, I received a short email they were closing the hiring process for that position. The next day, the job posting was removed, and three others were added, including the position the PIP was for.

Question 1
Create a PIP for an office manager that can’t order lunch or keep office supplies stocked.
