      Compliance Specialist Interview

      7 May 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Centene

      Interview

I saw the position on Indeed and applied on a Monday night. I received an email Tuesday indicating my resume was being moved to the next phase. Later that same day, I got an email requesting an in person interview. I confirmed and my interview was on the Friday. The following Tuesday, I got another email informing me the hiring manager wanted to move forward and I needed to complete application and background consent Form. I received my official offer letter and accepted. The whole process was about 2 weeks. I am so excited and the benefits are awesome. This seems like a great company to work with!

      Interview

The recruiter never followed up, even after I sent a polite follow-up email one month later. Eventually, I received an automated rejection letter without any personal communication or feedback. Disappointing experience.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Centene in Aug 2023

      Interview

The interview process was pretty typical. I first spoke with a recruiter, then had a panel interview with the team, followed by a final short interview where I was told I was one of two finalists. Everyone I spoke to was lovely and professional. Therefore, I was disappointed to receive a generic email stating I was no longer being considered for the position. It felt impersonal. At that stage of the interview process I think the decent thing to do would be to call the applicant, or at least send a more personalized email stating that they went with the other candidate.
