Incredibly long. There is no urgency. Communication was mediocre at best, and you are left to wonder what is really happening. It's hard to stay engaged and excited about an opportunity when things drag on.

I applied online. I interviewed at Celebrity Cruises in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward. It started with an initial online application, followed by a screening call with a recruiter. They asked about my previous work experience, customer service skills, and ability to work on a cruise ship. The final step was a short online interview with a hiring manager.

Question 1
They asked me about my experience working in hospitality and how I handle high-pressure environments on a cruise ship.
One of the best recruiting and interviewing processes. The recruiter communicated on a regular basis, and I always knew where I was in the process. She checked in with me after each interview step and asked how I felt, and if I had any questions or needed anything as we moved forward to the next step.

Question 1
the interview focused a lot more on who I was as a person ... and not as much on what I had done in the past. There was definitely conversation around the skills they were looking for, but I found most of the focus what about how I would fit with the team culture.
