Was contacted by a recruiter first and had a video interview via TEAMS. Interview went well. It felt long. Recruiter was very professional and engaging. Was given prompts like: Tell me about yourself. Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a patient. Tell me about a time you made a mistake. A few other questions were asked that I can't remember. I was forwarded to the managers for a video interview via TEAMS. The interview felt short. I felt like they had already made their decisions. The interview was supposed to be with 5 people. The interview started with one person (assistant manager) and two other people joined late, mid-interview with their cameras off and did not introduce themselves or ask questions. Not very friendly. Their prompts: Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to work at Cedars-Sinai? Why are you leaving [current hospital]? [current hospital] also has a good reputation, why do you want to work at Cedars-Sinai? How do you know you'll like it here? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? And then they just asked me about how much experience I have working with different devices and that was it, interview was over. Those were all the questions. Given the questions asked by the hiring manager and the fact they have a hiring bonus in place [a bonus that has a contract obligation and if you leave sooner, needs to be repaid], I got the impression that they have high turnover and it makes me wonder why. I had multiple interviews set up with different hospitals in the area and after that interview I decided Cedars would not be my first choice. I was not offered a position anyways and an alternate candidate was selected.
