Met CAT at a conference, did an interview with 2 people, one had my position before and the other was in the program that is offered after the internship. Required to use STAR method, did not have to answer any technical questions.

Describe a time when you had to take a leadership role within a group.
Behavioral-based questions were mainly used, the STAR interview format was the expectation. There were not any technical questions. The interviewers were quite nice and very ready to answer any of my questions about how the job process works.

STAR interview. Standard but prep for it. The interviewers were somewhat friendly but professional. Caterpillar has a good internship program and they attend a lot of conferences so it may be hard to get in.
