I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Caterpillar (Peoria, IL) in Nov 2015
Interview
Caterpillar heavily relies on the STAR interview format. Situation, Task, Action, Result. I have interviewed for numerous positions within CAT over the nearly six years of employment with them. Generally, every interview I have ever had relied on the STAR format however, some more than others. Additionally, some interviews were much easier than others and some briefly touched on the STAR format while others heavily relied on the STAR format.
