Interview
It wasn't bad do your research about the company and if you make it to the next round be prepared to take a test they made. It's creating a game in C#.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Castle Hill Gaming (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2023
Interview
During the phone screening interview, the recruiter told me it would be the equivalent of 4-5 easy to medium leetcode questions. However, Castle Hill Gaming has outsourced their hiring to another company, which in turn has outsourced to hire foreign workers living in India with no professionalism. My interviewer was doing home renovations. Not only that, but the actual interview was completely different than what was promised. Instead of coding, I was asked to do code review based on OOP. I was not allowed to run the code, despite the previous instructions they gave which encouraged me to run code often. When I provided feedback to both Castle Hill and Karat, I was ignored or patronized with an AI response. Castle Hill Gaming doesn't want the best, they want the cheapest. Stay far away from this company.

Interview
The interview process takes longer than 6 weeks. I passed the programming test and made it to the last technical round (3rd technical round, 5th round in the whole process). After every round, I got positive feedback (which I explicitly asked them at the end of the interview) about my performance. Then after the last round, I got a straight rejection because "There are better candidates that suit their needs". I don't get it, maybe they try to do their job (interview) without taking it seriously. By the way, this is just an assumption because I've been ghosted after the interview.
