The company recruiter initiated contact and scheduled a phone screen. Then I was scheduled for a virtual interview with the hiring manager. 4 virtual interviews were scheduled with team members and leadership. Then they ghosted me. I didn't hear a result after spending over 5 hours with the team. The communication is great when they're interested in you and it seems to drop off if they're not. I would've expected a formal no at least out of such a sophisticated HR structure after moving so far in the process.
