ChatGPT I was initially contacted for an interview for the position. Following the HR interview, the company didn't provide any updates on the process. When I inquired, they mentioned that the position was on hold. However, the interviewer was polite, the questions about my experience were standard, and the conversation about the position and the company went well.

Received an email from recruiter next day after applying to setup initial screening. Conducted initial screening and they asked I could talk to hiring manager a few days later. My schedule did not allow, but advised on dates the following week that could work. Fast forward two months later, I receive an email saying looking at other candidates. Very poor engagement and communication. Pretty typical of a start up until they are acquired by a larger company with more mature processes.
