I applied online. I interviewed at Carnivore Meat Company
Interview
The job posting was lengthy (which is beneficial to gain an understanding of the role and company) and at the bottom there was a key phrase with a call to action to include the key phrase in your cover letter which would put your resume at the top of the pile. I thought that was an interesting tactic to narrow down who is attentive. Then, the top dozen candidates were sent a written interview to complete. I believe the next step would be an in-person interview however, I did not make it that far. Personally, the whole thing felt like a huge waste of time. For a company to make you put that much time and effort into an interview only for them to send you some automated "sorry, we've moved on without you e-mail" was frustrating. It was clearly communicated that there were only a dozen or so people filling out the written interview. The least you could do is send a personal e-mail thanking the candidates
