I had to talk about my past projects. The questions, given the projects they were looking at, covered things like what kinds of projects I enjoyed, whether my skill set was a good fit, and deep dives into prior projects.

Question 1
Specifically, they were looking for someone whose background had relevant components that could be helpful, skill-wise, for the projects they are currently working on. They asked deep questions about that and, in short, were summarizing things so that we could later establish whether it was a good fit.

Setting up a time to meet with research professor. Discussing your research and why you want to join team. Going over your interests and previous experiences related to the field.
Smooth and went well, interviewer very friendly and knowledgable, provided a lot of useful information about the position so I felt clear. Location is good, friendly and positive experience overall.
