Two rounds of interview happened.
Was scheduled on a weekend for a 30 minute interview. I assume a Lead had taken the interview,
Interview was tricky, he was analysing me based on my experience and not by a standard set of questions. So questions were like, how your day go, and based on the answer the agile set of questions arises.
On d next day, gotta call from the hr that I’m thru and get ready for 2nd round - manager round, and the interview happened on a week day(4 days after my 1st round)
Manager was really chill, he ensured the candidate is settled enough for the interview and he starts. So basically the interview was like a behaviour round, it was like, what would you do in this scenario and how you will handle. What’s your weakness/ strength/ improvements etc and based on that the agile/ safe questions comes up.
I got the result from hr within 2 hours after the manager round, and they had asked me to give them reference documents for offer processing.
The next day, the hr called up for salary discussion. I havnt seen a decent hr like him, he was so polite, he really heard what I said, and he asked why I’m demanding this hike, and i believe I had given him a proper justification, and he was ok. He explained me the roles in the organisation and what benefits we get.
Usually hrs will be like a person with a roller skate, talk with u as if they are very busy and treat you like an option. But this hr to my surprise, was very ethical and very professional.
And during the end of the call, hr told they would release the offer in a week.
So the weekend passed by and so the 5 working days too, and finally at the end of the 5th working day, the golden mail came, and the best part was, what I asked in the salary discussion was printed in the offer letter, which was really promising.
I do see a lot of negative interview experience, but what I had was the best. May be it depends on the person who takes. But to my experience, the interview process went in ease!!
For ppl who r waiting for offer, yah it s kinda nail biting situation. But don’t leave hope, this company sends the promised offer.
