I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Carahsoft (Reston, VA)
Interview
4 Weeks.
Recruiting will reach out to you and screen you through an intro interview (15 minute phone call) and then they send you an application to complete, asking about your social media and what additional jobs and positions you are applying for. They are extremely hard to get a hold of. They will try and push you into a sales roll unless you explicitly state that you want marketing. I needed to reiterate multiple times before they let me continue the process.
3 rounds - Interview with each marketing manager (5 or 6), the director of marketing, and VP of marketing.
1st round includes an in-person interview with a few managers and Director (mixed b/w in person and over the phone while onsite). They make you take a skills assessment (30-45 min) that includes editing and creating an email (mock email blast / email automation is the largest part of this job). Then recruiting will ask how it went.
2nd round is with the VP and is over the phone. Then recruiting will ask how it went.
3rd round is in person and with the remaining managers/a few repeats. Then the other VP of marketing/PR will present you with an offer. They make you accept on the spot.

Interview
My interview process was similar to other reviews. I was paired with a recruiter who walked me through the process, which was so helpful and I felt so prepared for each step. It started with two calls with the recruiter before getting to talk with the team I would join. Then I had a final interview that presented me with an offer at the end. Very smooth and consistent experience!

Interview
You’re in contact with a recruiter the entire time who preps you for the interview. The recruiter will match you with a team that is hiring after passing the initial screening. The team specific interview is long, since it’s basically 3 people rotating in to interview you. However it’s fairly easy, a mix of technical, behavioral, and get to know you questions. Everyone was so personable and kind!
