I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CarMax in Sept 2019
Interview
There was a long personality test online, then a shorter quantitative test (which was clearly slapped together without much care) on finance questions and asking you to interpret rather poorly made graphs. Then a phone interview where I was asked to solve an EMV decision tree problem, on paper, without a calculator. There was also a short ~10 minute section of behavioral questions.

Question 1
Name a time you worked with Data?
100 paintings question
Three rounds: HR, case study, and then interview with team with additional case studies. Case studies included the bridge case, revenue case, car loan case, and the famous painting case.
Using these cases feels like "gotcha" moments when doing the interview. They say they want to see "how you think" but these are all mathematical problems with only one answer.

Question 1
You are shown 100 paintings one-by-one. You have to pick "the best" painting. You do not get to choose prior paintings.
