[September 2021] First interview was with the hiring manager, went well. Had a second interview with the GM, also went well, he offered on the spot, I told him I was considering a few options and I'd let him know within 48 hours, he was immediately displeased, but ultimately fine with that route. I reached out the next day to accept, no answer from the hiring manager, left a message. Waited one day for a response to my message, nothing, tried the following day, same issue. Tried the GM, no response. Ended up calling reception and asking to be transferred or for availability, she said they were in a meeting at the moment, left a message. GM finally called me back the next day, I was polite and let him know I had called previously reached out to accept, said he didn't believe me that I called, put me on hold to check with IT I guess for phone records? Came back, said he found the messages, don't even know the purpose of checking, but then told me they want to go another direction and rescinded the offer. Easily the worst interview process, management and communication I've ever experienced. GM wasn't even polite about it, in the interview or when I had finally got ahold of them.
