The interview process consisted of a phone interview (about 30 minutes) and an in-person interview. I arrived at the office for the interview a few minutes early and was quickly given a brief overview of what the company did as well as the changes that were planned in the future if the economy in general, and construction industry in particular, remained on the upswing. There was nothing unusual about the type of Interview questions asked, although one of the comments said to me, struck me a little as ageism. The in office interview went well and lasted a few hours, which I thought a little length for that type of position. I sent a thank you note as usual after my interview. I was told that they were anxious to get someone in the position, so I hoped that I'd hear back fairly quickly, but I was wrong. It would have been nice to hear back, one way or the other, but that was not the case. I never received a response. Note: Location I noted is a general one - I wanted to say just California, but that was not an option.
