I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capital One (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2015
Interview
1 behavioral + 2 case interviews. One of the cases is heavy on quant and calculations are recalled for future questions within the case. The cases are not necessarily based on banking industry problems. They are used to assess the candidate's problem solving approach. Not much time given for questions to be posed by the candidate after the case is completed. So do ask your best questions.
The interview was based on 3 phases. First was screening on call then a video interview with mini case then a power day with 3 phases including product interview, case based and economics based.
First, Screening call: the HR simply walked you thru the interview process and schedule the next round of interview - mini-case. I haven't done the mini case yet. Mini case, just search online for potential cases and prepare for it.
Fairly straightforward. Recieved a mini case then the power day which consisted of a behavior interview, a case and a product sense interview. The Product Sense asked for me to choose any product and identify 10 potential users for it
