I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Nov 2025
Interview
Completed digital assessment, got invited to first round mini-case. Didn't move on to final round power day. Overall speedy process and they let me know quickly. Not sure how competitive the program typically is but seems pretty competitive.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Sept 2025
Interview
First round interview followed by 4.5 hr long powerday of 4 interviews over zoom. Interviews consisted of product cases, product design/discovery scenarios, and product skills questions. Product cases allowed a calculator and product skills required talking about a past project.

Question 1
What components would you need to consider as a PM if you were to design and implement a new product feature?
The process was very smooth and quick, they let you know your results within a few days so you're never left wondering, which I appreciated. They provide a lot of guides and resources to help you prepare, and I felt like it did accurately give me enough experience and practice for my interviews. I had 2 rounds of interviews, one was a regular product case interview with a Senior PM and after that I had the Power Day interviews (4 back to back interviews). Each were detailed and thorough, and I would not have done as well as I did without the prep work they suggested/provided. All my interviewers were also very kind and engaging, and they helped me along whenever I started to struggle/get lost trying to solve the problem during the interview. Overall, a good and exhausting experience, but worth being a part of as I feel like it really improved my skills regardless of whether I received an offer or not.
